The Acadeum Course Share (ACS) Student App allows you to find courses offered by other schools (Teaching Institutions) that have been vetted by your school (your Home Institution) to meet its curriculum requirements.
Finding a course in the Student App and submitting a registration request to your school are often the first steps, but they do not guarantee automatic enrollment in the course. Every registration request undergoes a final review by both your school and the course’s Teaching Institution to confirm whether it fits your specific course needs and if a seat is available. You are officially enrolled only after both schools approve the request.
Note: Not all Home Institutions utilize the ACS Student App. (Please see "How Do I Access Acadeum's Student App?" for details. ) Be sure to follow your school’s process for requesting a course through Acadeum.

Where Do I Search for Courses?
Course options appear in two primary tabs on your school’s home page of the ACS Student App:
- Your School Courses: Best for searching when you know the exact course code from your school's catalog (e.g., MATH125)
- All Course Substitutes: Best for browsing other institution’s available options by subject or name
How Do I Search by My School's Courses?
Use the Your School Courses tab when you know the specific course you need to fulfill at your Home Institution.
From the Student App home page, click Your School Courses
In the Search for Courses field, enter your school’s course code or course name
Click See Courses to view approved course substitutes offered by other schools
How Do I Browse Available Course Substitutes?
Many schools approve multiple course equivalencies from various Teaching Institutions to fulfill the same degree requirement. Use the All Course Substitutes tab to see the full list of these available course possibilities.
From the Student App home page, click All Course Substitutes
In the Search for Courses field, enter keywords from the Course Title. (Do not enter the Course Code.)
Click Select Section on a suggested course card to view a sample syllabus, prerequisites, and available section dates
Example: If your school offers MATH125 College Algebra, you may see substitutes like MATH110 Algebra Fundamentals (School A) or MATH100 Basics of Algebra (School B). You can request either because both courses have been vetted as potential substitutes to meet your school's Math125 requirement.
How Do I Use Filters to Narrow My Results?
