Students can Drop or Withdraw from an active course in which they are enrolled.
- Students can Drop from an active course if it is still within the Add/Drop period.
- Students can Withdraw from an active course after the Add/Drop period has passed.
Request to Drop a Course
If your Home Institution Students can request to be dropped from a course prior to the Drop Date listed on ACS. This request will be sent to the student's Home Institution for processing. Acadeum encourages students to confirm with their Home Institution that they have been dropped on ACS and in the Home Institution's records.
To submit a Drop request to your Home Institution:
- Log into the Student App and click Current Enrollments.
- Scroll to the course and click .
(Note: a course can only be dropped if it has been approved by both the HI and TI and is in Enrolled or Active status. To rescind a registration request that has not been approved by HI and TI, or is not in Enrolled or Active status, simply remove the course. - Add a reason for the requested drop.
- Click .
The request to drop the course has been submitted. Click Continue to close the pop-up window.
Withdrawing from a Course
Students can request to be withdrawn from a course if the active course has already passed its Drop Date as listed in the course description. To drop a course:
- From the student application landing page, click .
- Scroll to the course and click .
- Click .
- Add a reason for the requested withdrawal.
- Click .
The request to withdraw from the course has been submitted. Click Continue to close the pop-up window.
