There may be instances where a teaching institution does not have available sections of an approved course substitute. In these instances, you can request that a section is added from within the course search area.
- From within the Search for Courses area, click
.
- Complete the information within the pop-up box.
a. Course Code: your school’s course code (as it appears in your course catalog).
b. Course Title: your school’s course title (as it appears in your course catalog).
c. Advisor Name
d. Advisor Email
e. Reason for requesting a course section

- A pop-up box will appear confirming your request. Click Continue to exit.
This will trigger an email to the Acadeum Support team who will coordinate with your home institution and the corresponding teaching institution to have a section added.
